Stuff....

Tomorrow Dustin is going to do a post! I'm so excited...I like reading what he puts on here! I'm excited! I still have lots of things to share....we moved, got a roomate (for a while), did yardwork, got the cops called (Banshee), dinners at home...not living out of boxes and wrapping up wedding plans....so much still to blog! Tomorrow we will spend the evening at the apartment, that we still have ownership of til the 30th...we have to clean it and even after filling a 24ft Uhaul, we still have stuff there at the apartment to bring over! My life is insane but I love it!! Talk to you tomorrow....going to attempt to get up at 5:30am and hit the gym...may start after my birthday (Sunday), so excited for that!!!
Ok, Goodnight all!

I know...I'm a SLACKER!!!!

FEBRUARY 13, 2009
I have a lot of catching up to do! We all went to Glamis for Valentine's Day and had a great time! Dustin, Bannon and I drove together in our little Ford with B's huge trailer behind us...that was about 4 gas tanks of gas to go through! haha... Casey, Nicole, Jeremie and Pete followed behind! Finally after the slackers showed up, got loaded, got groceries it was after 7pm by the time we left Ahwatukee! My bike was running and all good! We got to Glamis and set up camp about 11pm and had a good time! When we woke up Saturday we got ready for a morning ride and everyone was laughing at Dustin and his referee jersey that he bought for a riding shirt! haha...
But he was the only one who looked "different" than everyone else and if you've been to the dunes you know how hard it is to find ANYONE you know! Below: POINT TAKEN!!!!
Since my bike was "big dune" ready we headed out to go bowlin' and we had to stop here! Hahah it was soooo hilarious! This picture doesn't show but I still couldn't make it up the big dunes....but Dustin and Bannon both tried getting up this dune more than 15 times each! Finally after going about 2 miles out and just hammering on it....the Red Rocket made it up.....barely! You should have seen us at the crest cheering Dustin on when he made it! It was sooo funny!
We finally made it to Olds and here is Dustin probably trying to talk Bannon into racing with him.... Instead of racing the bikes up the hill....they decided to take the FORD...yes OUR TRUCK that hauled our asses to Glamis UP THE HILL!!!! They were sooo sure it would make it! It doesn't look that big til you try and go up it....here are a few of those attempts.
...and then this! haha Yeah, they didn't make it up HALFWAY!!! I was laughing sooo hard, when they pulled over by me they say...well the 4 wheel drive won't engage, they get under the truck and low and behold the stinkin' AXEL HOUSING WAS CRACKED!!!! Of course I was upset cause it's my baby....but who knows how long it was broke for and we STILL HAD A 4 HOUR DRIVE HOME...PULLING A TRAILER! Thank goodness it wasn't the axel itself...just the housing...but they assured it if the 4x4 would have been working "properly" the Ford would have made it up the hill! We finished our day out wishing we were doing this right now in our Ford (Dustin's dream):We went home on Sunday, the truck made it safely, nobody was hurt....and the axel housing was only $250.00 to fix! haha.....

FEBRUARY 28, 2009- Jesse's Par-Tay!!!

So it's been quite a while since i've been on this blog thing! Malisa keeps reminding me that I haven't posted since February, and that wasn't much at all! I love ya Malis (MISS YOU GUYS SOOO MUCH). Jensen didn't want Malisa starting a blog so I'll be sure to include our fun photos of the girls while they were here in Arizona! My cousin Jesse got orders to go back to Iraq for a 2nd time, we had a get together in Show Low at Bannon's place before he left....and Malisa and Jensen were able to come from Oklahoma to join in the fun....the last time they were here was the Easter before! Uncle Pat & Lori with the kids drove out from Colorado so it was nice to see everyone! Here are a few pictures: The weekend for Jesse was a great time; thanks to Amanda for putting everything together! We will miss you Jes! Love ya!
Sunday we spend the morning enjoying family and breakfast and then met with Shellie, the wedding cake lady! We all LOVED the wedding cake she brought and are so excited to see ours in real life...not just out of the wedding magazine! Here is our cake....it will just be lots bigger and 3 tier! I'm sooo excited for the wedding! It's getting closer and closer and more exciting! I have thus far made everything with a personal touch....and the next project are the wedding announcements that I REALLY need to get after soon! They need to go out in a few weeks! YIKES!!! I can't wait to see everyone again!

MARCH 6, 2009- BACK TO THE DUNES.....GORDON'S WELL & BUTTERCUPWe had a good time and came home....crashed! It's sooo crazy how fast time flies when you get older! haha

March 9-21, 2009- Fun with the Girls!!!
When we got back from the dunes, Malisa was still in town so we hung out! I loved spending time with everyone and makes me miss the time we were apart for 2 years! How sad! Jensen bought a Duner Bug and he and Dustin spent quite a bit of time on that POS! Every night we were in Queen Creek while Dustin & Jensen worked on the bug....Malisa, Aunt Cathi, me and the girls hung out and made dinner! We had a good time! It was nice hanging out with them and getting to know Hailee and Madison (post stranger danger...or anyone who wasn't their mom)! Here are a few pictures from our visits!

Madison Marie:
Hailee Rae I wish you guys lived back in AZ...and I know you wish that too! Someday though! Love you guys!

APRIL 4, 2009- Camping=Disaster for Ashley

So some friends of ours got together a camping trip to Sycamore Creek! Of course we jumped all over that since we love Sycamore! I haven't rode my bike with the regular tires on it so I was looking forward to that! Dustin and I packed up along with Tanya and the 3 of us headed out there! The dogs came along and Dustin even invited a guy from work who rides as well. We stopped by and picked up Evan and out we went! There apparently was some sort of biking event going on because we must have passed about 200,000 cyclists on the road to Sycamore!

We finially made it out there, set up camp (which is a 10x10 pop up shade...hey it's easier than a tent!) and got all our gear out, etc. Dustin and Evan went for a ride while Tanya and I stayed behind napping in the back of her truck on the air mattress! To clear the air: Dustin bought me a 1973 Ford F-150 for Valentine's Day and then decided to trade it (my gift) for an old ass Banshee! Apparently he thought he needed it!

Here's Tanya sportin' the ugly thing! lol We were proud of our lunchables! We were only staying one night...no need to brings lots of food!
Dustin & I...he's sooo white! Tanya with Chowski & Thor! This pop up shade, blew away....ripped and all...it ended up in about 1 million pieces and was no good for us! Yes, that's the air mattress in about 3 inches of FREEZING COLD water! It was fun! Dustin and Evan wanted to go for a ride, more friends finally showed up and the 3 of us decided to go for a ride! Evan (whom we really don't know) decided he wanted to ride my dirtbike, so I rode his sooped up race quad or something. From the start I didn't feel comfortable, the throttle was touchy but I didn't say anything! Well we went up the creek bed maybe a mile and I wrecked! Some may not be surprised, but i've been doing real well on my dirtbike for a while now! We went up around a corner and up a hill, well when I went around the corner I gave it a bit of gas to get up the little hill and apparently gave it too much gas (i'm telling you it was REALLY touchy) and it shot me about 6 feet in the air and I flipped Evan's quad. Yes, it wasn't even MINE! I think I blacked out for a few seconds cause all I remember Dustin doing was running over asking if I was okay! I was okay, but saw the quad upside down about 2 feet from me! Needless to say we went back to camp, me on my own bike, and Dustin insisted I go to the hospital. I didn't want to go....but did. It doesn't look THAT bad, does it? I'm tough, I can handle it...i'll just wash it up and i'll be good to go. Dustin wasn't having that so off we went! Left camp and friends behind for the Emergency Room; I talked Dustin into going to the Urgent care instead (it's cheaper), but not cheaper when you have to go back 4 TIMES!!!! Yes, 4 times! After they scrubbed the crap out of it and go all the dirt and rocks they saw they sewed me up! Dustin was amazed at my pain tolerance.....it hurt but not too bad. His eyes were watering and it wasn't even his arm! I will spare you the photos of about 4-5 days after the accident; they are nasty and not pleasant! Long story short, 3 stitches later we went back to the Urgent Care Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and then to an Orthopaedic Surgeon because there was an infection and a rock in my arm! I was hopped up on Antiobiotics and in pain.....today it itches like crazy and I still have the rock in my arm, I took my own stitches out and i'm all better! Nice and pleasant scar it will leave for my WEDDING DAY! Oh well...i'm banning myself from anything with a motor unless it's the Lexus or Ford! haha

APRIL 7, 2009- Diamondbacks Game!

Dustin's dad and step-mother invited us to go to the 2nd Diamonbacks game of the season! We got ready and met them at Merrie's work and carpooled from there! We are dinner at the ballpark (or tried)....I was craving a ballpark frank (haha) and so that's what I got, but was NOTHING what I wanted! After taking two hot dogs back that were absolutly disgusting (and I hadn't even taken a bite yet) the old lady that was working the hot dog cooking realized she forgot to put water in the thing....so needless to say my hot dog was burnt and soggy! Dustin was nice enough to return the dog for a 2nd time and get me some Panda Express! Thanks babe! We enjoyed the game...but lost! Boo....the ride home was hilarious! Bob and Merrie crack me up and I like giving Bob hell...Merrie encourages it! Thanks guys for inviting us to the game...the seats were great!
April 8, 2009- Farewell Dinner

Tomorrow Jesse is headed to Flagstaff where they will be having a family day for all family and troops before they are shipped out to Indiana for a few months, then ultimately to Iraq for a year or longer. Since some of the family was unable to head up to Flag, Amanda and Jesse coordinated dinner Chili's, until they realized they closed their doors (how sad) and we wound up at Applebee's (not as good)....it was fun! Aunt Cathi, Zac, Britney, Uncle Matt, Aunt Fran, Dustin, Tanya, Me and of course Jesse and Amanda enjoyed dinner and company! We miss you Jesse! Be on the lookout for care packages galore! Here are a few pictures:

***I've been working on this post since the 26th and I'm still not done! I can't keep Malisa waiting for new reading material, so I will post more tomorrow...or Thursday!***
